ITF Inspectorate, Helsinki, Finland – Vacant Position

The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) is seeking to fill a full-time position of ITF Inspector in Finland. The role, based in Helsinki, will cover all ports in Finland as required, with duties outlined in the ITF Inspector Role Description document (attached).

Applicants must be endorsed by an ITF maritime-affiliated union and possess at least an intermediate level of spoken and written English. The successful candidate must be employed by the host ITF-affiliated union and hold an employment contract during their tenure as an ITF Inspector. Additionally, they should not hold any official union position when assuming the role.

In accordance with the Inspectorate Review process, all maritime-affiliated unions within Finland are invited to submit applicants for the position, with the final selection being made through an interview process.

Once all applications have been reviewed, we will announce the venue and dates for the interviews.
